Viraj Aero is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicolas Béchet as Chief Operating Officer. Former Managing Director of GE Aerospace France, Nicolas brings extensive experience in aircraft engine programs, industrial operations, and relationships with major aircraft manufacturers.
Throughout his career, Nicolas has worked at the heart of some of the aerospace industry’s most significant engine programs. He led the CFM56 program, the best-selling aircraft engine in history, and helped navigate the LEAP production ramp-up. His experience also includes years of leading operations and managing relationships with airframers such as Airbus and ATR.
This background brings a valuable perspective to Viraj Aero: a deep understanding of what it takes to move an engine from development to production and support its deployment at scale.
As Viraj Aero develops a new generation of turbines, Nicolas will help shape the company’s operational foundations and prepare for its next stages of growth. His appointment marks an important step in strengthening the team and building the industrial capabilities needed to bring its technology to market.
